Summer Camp Coordinator
Job Description
The Summer Camp Coordinator will share the day-to-day responsibilities for summer camp operations with the camp workers and volunteers. The coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, operation and support of programs ensuring their effective and cohesive operation daily; training, support, and supervision of all staff; camper wellness/when applicable. The Summer Camp Coordinator will also be responsible for the following:
Develope and implements summer camp programs.
Training, support, and supervision of all staff; camper wellness
Provide direction to support team.
Developed philosophies and practices for meeting camper's needs, monitoring and evaluating program activities.
Create and maintain an environment respectful of the camper's strengths and needs.
Protect and respect the rights of children.
Follow employment standards; manages staff and labour relations.
Motivate and supervise camp workers; evaluate employees' and volunteers' performances.
Support and address staff behaviour and maintain staff records.
Conduct staff meetings; manage problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Respond to parent questions and concerns; assess the program; and prepare a weekly report and a final report at the end of the program.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
