Red Deer Public Schools is seeking
Substitute (Casual) Educational Assistants
who are available on short notice Monday to Friday.Candidates must be comfortable using technology and capable of accepting assignments through our
online dispatch system
.Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic and behavioural support to students across all grade levels (Pre-K to Grade 12). Work collaboratively with school staff and independently as needed. Support students with physical care, including lifting and toileting assistance when required.
Desirable Qualifications and Attributes:
Preference given to those with an educational assistant certificate, social work diploma, rehabilitation diploma or students of a Bachelor of Education program that have completed at least one year of studies. Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments. Able to lift and provide toileting assistance to students from Pre-K to high school.
