Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Subsea/Marine/SIMOPS Planner in St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, NL. Located in St. John\'s, NL, Maderra Engineering Inc. provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Supports the Marine and Subsea project teams and is a member of the SIMOPS team. \xc2\xb7 Review and analysis of the contractor submitted monthly forecast schedules, monthly reports, interface milestones , fabrication requirements and scope execution. \xc2\xb7 Preparation and management of SIMOPS schedule including managing interfaces between subprojects. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for assessing the physical progress, analyzing data, performing trend analysis, compare progress with contractual schedule, suggesting corrective actions, when necessary and preparing report documents. \xc2\xb7 Early flagging of potential risk, suggest a corrective action for slippage (if any). \xc2\xb7 Input to the development of project progress report and key performance indicators. \xc2\xb7 Prepare detailed analysis of critical paths, highlights to the project team and instigate corrective action to ensure on time delivery. \xc2\xb7 Review schedule trends for early identification of problem areas and develop suggestions for corrective action to management. Monitor actual progress against planned progress. \xc2\xb7 Identification of Variations/Additional works and subsequent management of Schedule/ Budgets and provide planning and scheduling input for cost forecasting, for reporting purposes together with analysis of reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc., as well as for periodic presentations to all parties involved. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Planning Manager and Team Members and prepare schedule forecasts. \xc2\xb7 Analyze impact of proposed changes to project scope / requirements and re-baseline the schedules to incorporate approved changes. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years planning experience \xc2\xb7 Project experience considered an asset \xc2\xb7 Understanding of detailed engineering design \xc2\xb7 Solid experience with planning / scheduling systems and tools such as Primavera, Progress and Performance Measurement tools \xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Understand cost control, change management and contractual functions \xc2\xb7 Experience working in subsea projects. \xc2\xb7 One or more of the below or equivalent experience: o Post-Secondary degree in Engineering or Technology required o Professional Engineer considered an asset o Project Management Professional (PMP) o Planning and Schedule Professional (PSP) While we sincerely appreciate every application, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
