Studio Operator / Production Specialist - Oshawa, Canada

Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders and strategic Corporate partners in the production of both 'on-site' and 'off-site' productions/events (i.e. Executive Announcements, Town Halls, ENG video shoots)
Coordinate and assist with the technical production of studio productions, including the set-up of cameras, audio equipment, teleprompter, lighting and video equipment for each event.
Assist with the development and production of both on-site and off-site productions/events as assigned
Assure all video production elements (i.e. video assets) adhere to current policies / procedures, and provide support and direction on the technical aspects of studio production and equipment
Conduct regular maintenance of studio equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems that arise prior or during production.
Operate and use the Virtual Training system, monitor and capture all necessary information that pertains to these events
Work directly with GM Canada executives to deliver confidential and time-sensitive information
Required Skillsets
This is an onsite job and requires reporting to the client office 5 days a week
This position is located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
2+ years Video Production Experience with live and recorded in a Corporate (or similar) studio environment, utilizing Studio equipment (i.e. video switchers, audio mixers cameras, teleprompter operations, lighting setup/greenscreen, etc.)
Videography skill set desirable
Bilingual (French) desirable
Video editing experience desirable
Experience with scheduling, coordination, or administrative role -- ideally within a creative studio, production house, or media environment desirable
Education
Bachelor's degree or College Diploma/Certificate, in Communications, Media Production, Business Administration, or a related field
