JR. MEDIA PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

NOGU is an award-winning, high-growth jewelry brand focused on inclusivity and giving back to meaningful causes worldwide. We are looking for the next rock star to join our young, energetic, and talented team in Toronto.

Your sole job is to help up supercharge our content output.

This position will contribute across various aspects of our creative efforts, with a focus on photography, Photo Editing, Video Production, Video Editing, Social Media, and Content Development.

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Production Specialist to assist our content production team into the dynamic landscape of 2025 and beyond. This role will be pivotal in creating compelling content & strategies, helping produce paid and organic content creation, editing core marketing images & video, conducting trend research, and helping to ensuring our brand's presence remains viral and captivating in the market.

Help us tell the NOGU story in a way that aligns with changing and emerging cultural trends and find the best building blocks to tell new stories digitally.
Research and stay up to date on trending topics, information about fashion, e-commerce & social trends that could be used as a lens through which to tell our evolving story.

Key Responsibilities



Execute

product and on-figure photoshoots

for e-commerce, social media, and campaigns. Style and

prop small sets

with an eye for visual composition, texture, and storytelling. Manage

studio lighting setup

and camera settings to achieve specific aesthetic outcomes. Perform

photo editing and retouching

in Photoshop, including colour grading, layer masking, and clipping paths. Produce

short-form, social-first videos

for digital platforms. Handle

file management and organization

for all shoots. Collaborate with the Creative Director and broader team to translate creative direction into striking, brand-aligned imagery.

Skills & Qualifications



1-3 years of photography experience (professional or strong portfolio-based). Strong understanding of

studio lighting, composition, and exposure

. Proficiency with

Adobe Photoshop

(retouching, masking, colour correction) and

Lightroom

. Experience with

photo styling and prop setup

for small products. Basic understanding of

video capture and editing

for social media content. Strong sense of visual storytelling and ability to creatively problem-solve. Excellent attention to detail, consistency, and file management. A proactive attitude -- someone who takes direction well and runs with ideas.

Position:

Part-Time (2-3 days per week, flexible schedule)

Location:

On-site at NOGU Studio, Toronto

Compensation:

Based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
