Part-time Student Services Coordinator

to join their team.

30 hours biweekly

As our new Student Services Coordinator, you will:




Have post-secondary education in a human service-related field (Social Services, Recreation, Volunteer Services, Gerontology, etc.) Provide orientation, onboarding, educational training, supervision and evaluation (as necessary) to students doing their placement in the village Attend regular student coordinator meetings to ensure all student procedures are consistent with other locations Collaborate with the opportunities partner to apply for student placement funding Maintain student records and provide detailed reports as needed Participate in school and community career fairs in collaboration with the support office people team Create student community building opportunities to ensure students feel connected to each other, the Village and the community Act as a liaison (where applicable,) between the Village leadership team and educational placement requests to ensure all students flow through the same process Where applicable, .collaborate with the postsecondary partners for the Living Classroom to ensure successful integration into Village life in partnership with the People Team at Support Office Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.

It would be an asset if you have:




Experience with student placements preferably in a health care or social services setting
