We are seeking applicants for a

Research Assistant

who will be responsible for assisting with ongoing research projects at the UofR (including conducting interviews, analyzing interview data, assisting with statistical analysis and interpretation, and assisting with report development - RJ and Sexual Violence, RPS community Survey).

Typical Duties include:Assist with developing relationships in Brazil Assist with ongoing research projects at the UofR Assist with Brazilian Portuguese language lessons



Position Requirements
Preferred Skills & Abilities:Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese Awareness of justice issues Awareness of Brazilian university system Has taken or is currently taking a course on restorative justice Connected with Uniinter in Brazil



Qualifications:

The preferred candidate should be enrolled in a certificate or degree in social science, humanities, Indigenous studies, justice studies, social work and/or restorative justice. The preferred candidate is required to be enrolled at University of Regina.
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
10-15 hours a week between September 15, 2025 - December 5, 2025 up to a maximum of 135 hours.
