We\'re proud to be part of the larger Irving Group of Companies, a family- owned business whose commitment to quality products and services dates back over 142 years.Based in Dieppe, New Brunswick, the Student Recruitment Lead reports to the Program Manager, Emerging Talent and plays a significant role in leading the approach to campus recruitment. With a focus on building the talent pipeline, the Student Recruitment Lead oversees the coordination of campus activity across the J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI) Moncton group of companies and owns all elements of the campus recruitment process.Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the execution of the JDI internal student program to ensure planned deliverables are met and students get exposure to the company, receive senior leadership interaction, and professional development learning opportunities.
• Identify top student talent and lead execution of student brokerage across JDI businesses to ensure top talent are reoffered early.
• Communicate with JDI businesses to understand their talent needs and foster partnerships with educational institutions to address workforce requirements and cultivate relationships
• Develop and maintain student recruitment metrics, including conversion data.
• Ensure the student recruitment process is optimized, efficient, and effective and proved an exceptional experience for all candidates.
• Facilitate effective communication between and among JDI businesses regarding process improvement and about external events and opportunities.
• Design and implement initiatives that continue to support and grow JDI Moncton\xe2\x80\x99s impact on campus. Communicate with businesses to ensure they are aware of external event opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships with existing educational partners and seek opportunities to develop new partnerships to meet the growing workforce needs of JDI Moncton business.
• Assist with end of term assessments.

Requirements:

• Experience in campus recruitment and employment/brand campaigns.
• Understanding of recruitment process, exposure to recruitment technologies, and recruitment operations.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.
• Recruiting experience with student, hourly. and salaried workforces considered an asset.
• Bilingualism (French & English) also an asset.
