Property Maintenance - Student
Part-Time School Year / Full-time Summer

As such, we believe that the organization and cleanliness of our facility is a critical component in fulfilling that responsibility. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining a clean and professional appearance of The Hitch House's buildings, motorhome product, display lots, lawns, gardens, and customer campground facilities.Not sure if you have enough qualifications? No problem, we are happy to train the candidate who best fits our team!Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the dealership's property (15 acres) by:

• Wash motorhome exteriors
• Cutting and trimming lawns, trees, and shrubs.
• Maintain gardens - weeding, spreading mulch and watering plants.
• Clear brush and trees as required.
• Paint - pavement, fence posts, railings, gates, etc.
• Clean dealer's pavement using a ride on street sweeper

Operate Equipment as required, including:

• Kioti Tractor
• Wash-Bot: Portable Fleet Washing System
• Zero Turn Lawn Mower
• Landa Mobile Wash System
• Street Sweeper
• Push Lawn Mowers
• Gas Powered Trimmers

Occasionally shuttle motorhomes to outsourced service providers.QualificationsTechnical

• Mechanical aptitude an asset
• Related experience an asset
• G2 licence or higher an asset

Personal

• Energetic, self-motivated with a good work ethic
• Team player, with a strong willingness to take direction and share the workload
• Enjoy physical work

Education

• Currently enrolled in High School or Post-Secondary Education

Hours of WorkThis is a year-round position that offers full-time hours during the summer break, part time-hours and Saturdays during the school year.
