DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deal with patrons and contractors in a positive and courteous manner.
- Duties as required and directed including but not limited to: operation of electronic weigh scales, assessment and collection of tippage fees, completion of all required landfill documentation, compost logs, bank deposits, inventory, daily disposal sheets, directing customers, sorting and packaging Waste Electronic & Electrical Equipment (WEEE), and maintaining diversion areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a registered full-time post-secondary student during the preceding academic year and be returning to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year.
- Good communication and customer skills.
- Valid Driver\'s License with access to a vehicle required.
- Environmental Program background would be an asset.
- Excellent data entry and accuracy skills.
- Demonstrated computer experience in a Windows Environment would be preferred.
- Experience handling cash, debit/credit transactions preferred.
- CSA Approved Safety Boots (minimum 8\xe2\x80\x9d cuff) mandatory.
