Red Crow Community College invites applications for Student Funding Advisor & Recruitment Officer position at the Satellite campus in Lethbridge, AB.

General

Work effectively within the Registrar and Student Services Department. Work with perspective, current and past students with course registration, application processes and funding. Have a working knowledge of Adult Upgrading course sequencing. Understand post-secondary programs requirements, academic and career advising to ensure students are enrolled in appropriate courses. Able to navigate funding platforms and submit required information to funders. Serve as a liaison between students, funding agencies, community agencies and other academic institutions. Creates a database of prospective and current students. Participate in developing student recruitment strategies and written materials such as brochures, posters, program books, and program calendars. Scheduling meetings with partnering agencies and schools. Attend student recruitment fairs. Providing regular updates to their supervisor.

Qualifications

? College Diploma in a relevant discipline required.

? A minimum of 1 - 2 years of academic support in a post-secondary educational setting preferred.

? Knowledge of course sequencing, student placement and career counselling required.

? Experience in a First Nations or adult education setting considered an asset.
