The Student Accounts Receivable Representative will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all student financial accounts. The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining efficient financial processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in student payment operations.



Qualifications:



Two-year diploma in Business Accounting (or related field) Minimum of three years of practical experience in an accounting-related role Demonstrated thorough knowledge of accounts receivable practices and processes Advanced experience working with complex spreadsheets and large quantities of data Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Excellent and clear communication skills and a student-centered approach to service In-person, on-campus position. Must be able to reliably commute to North Bay, ON

Responsibilities:



Monitor and triage group student accounts receivable email accounts Apply incentives, scholarships, and bursaries to student accounts, ensuring entry is being charged to the correct general ledger account Investigate and resolve account discrepancies. Adjusting where necessary Support the setting up of approved payment plans; monitor for payment defaults and apply holds as needed Contribute to financial reporting through internal accounts receivable tracking and month-end reconciliations Prepare student tax documents, including T2202s, Releve 8s Process WSIB sponsored students and monitor/reconcile account activity Analyze student credit balances on a recurring basis Monitor and process student payment chargebacks. Apply student holds as required Support continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline student payment operations Other duties as assigned
