Accounts Receivable Representative - Hybrid


Reporting to the Sr Manager, Credit, you will be responsible for accurately applying daily receipts to customer accounts, processing and applying credit card payments to customer accounts, and performing daily batch reconciliations. This position administers account reconciliations, bad debt write offs, and check requests while performing administrative duties including invoice and statement distributions.

Key Responsibilities

Apply daily cash receipts for all Canon Canada Inc. divisions accurately and within company policies and procedures. Cash receipts include Lockbox, ACH/EFT transfers, and manual cheque deposits. Process credit card transfers and apply to customer accounts. Administer cheque requests, bad debt write offs, and adjustments pertaining to account reconciliation. Collaborate with Bank Representatives, Credit Representatives, and Accounting to investigate and identify unapplied cash receipts. Prepare customer invoices and statements for distribution. Run reports and perform daily batch reconciliations. Participate in annual and quarterly audit reviews, collect samples , and review and validate walkthrough controls. Administer all bull payments specific to the Credit Department and submit into Oracle for processing.

To succeed, you will need:

High school diploma; post-secondary education is preferred. Minimum 1-year related work experience required. Basic analytical skills to compare and validate information. Intermediate process management skills. Intermediate computer and technical skills; Microsoft office with a focus on Excel. Good time management/multi-tasking skills.

You will be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays each week, and can work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).
