Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Steel Detailer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive steel detailing drawings that are essential for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of structural steel design (Tekla Structures) and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy in all specifications.

Duties

Develop detailed drawings and plans for steel structures using Tekla structures software. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather project requirements and specifications. Create schematics that accurately represent the structural components of projects. Utilize software such as Tekla Structures , AutoCAD, SolidWorks for drafting and modeling tasks. Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Maintain organized documentation of all design revisions and project changes. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in steel detailing software primarily

Tekla Structures

. AutoCAD and SolidWorks are a bonus. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes. Experience in drafting schematics and detailed construction drawings. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly to team members and clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.44-$40.00 per hour
