five (5)
immediate openings for
Engineer II, Structural
to support major shipbuilding and marine engineering programs, including both new-build and refit vessel projects. These are full-time onsite roles, offering long-term stability and a strong project pipeline into 2026.
What You Will Be Doing
You will participate across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept and basic design through production support.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing structural engineering input throughout ship design and construction
Delivering technical solutions across all phases of the project lifecycle
Working with Naval Architecture, Outfitting & Safety, Machinery & Piping, and Electrical disciplines
Performing ship hull structural calculations and foundation design (static & dynamic loads)
Conducting FEA using
FEMAP, Abaqus, SolidWorks
, or similar tools
Completing compliance assessments for Class, National, and International rules
Developing clear technical procedures, specifications, and engineering reports
Reviewing and manipulating 3D models using
AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, Cadmatic, Navisworks
What You Must Have
Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years' experience
in ship structural design or marine structures
EIT designation
with a recognized engineering body
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Femap, Multiframe, ShipConstructor, SolidWorks, Navisworks, Cadmatic
Familiarity with regulations and standards:
IMO, SOLAS, Class Society Rules (LR, DNV-GL, IACS, ABS)
Shipyard experience is an asset
