Job Number: REQ4606 Location: Anywhere in Alberta #LI-Remote Apply by: Thursday, September 1st, 2022 Paygrade: J-OTH System Title: Strategy Analyst 5 # Positions available: 1 Leader Name: Megan Bailey As ATB’s next Strategy Analyst, you will work collaboratively with team members and leaders to identify trends relative to overarching scorecard and strategic priorities. The Strategy Analyst will be imperative to designing and shepherding the report creation for the strategic and operating plans monthly and quarterly. This Strategy Analyst will also be required to develop and deliver projects from ideation to implementation focused on the engagement and retention of team members; including topics such as team member experience and learning and development
You have experience and are comfortable working in environments of the technology and banking industry supporting the drive for business value. You will be required to prioritize multiple competing priorities and objectives on an ongoing basis. As well as you will support strategic, operational, and tactical initiatives and programs. Projects will include but are not limited to, engagement and retention, defining communication plans, and identifying trends and risks of programs or portfolios. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the real-time view of strategic, operational & tactical initiatives and programs.
  • Report on spending and return on investment, mapping back to overall project and program budgets.
  • Identify trends and risks of programs or portfolios of related products.
  • Support and build transparency around dependencies, risk, and overall flow of work through the delivery life cycle.
  • Apply talent management knowledge and expertise to interpret technology business needs into engagement and retention strategies and programs.
  • Work closely & collaborate with team members to design, prioritize, scope, and implement talent program initiatives related to engagement, retention, and employee experience.
  • Assess program progress & outcomes to business needs & KPIs.
  • Design and execute communication strategies to team members.
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure effective change communications.
  • Complete tasks and requirements autonomously with support and guidance as necessary.
Requirements Distinctive Skill Requirements:
  • A Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Management or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience related to strategic planning and coordination.
  • Project and program management - Ensure alignment with project plan and stakeholders; applying project management skills and change management.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and reacting to change and uncertainty with confidence and openness.
  • Employee Experience Lifecycle - Understanding the components of culture and how it manifests in the employee experience lifecycle. Using this understanding to address specific employee needs related to employee engagement and retention.
  • Talent Strategy Development - Setting the strategy for talent needs, including the definition of needs required to deliver upon company strategies to address engagement and retention gaps. Alignment of talent strategy to culture, purpose, and employee experience.
  • Performance Enablement - Strategic build of enablement programs to support leaders & teams through the lens of the employee experience lifecycle.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and facilitation skills with an eye for design & formatting.
  • Ability to contribute to stakeholder and relationship management to present information to a variety of audiences and influence stakeholders.
  • Having an understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques is considered an asset.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, to recognize and resolve complex issues and devise creative solutions.
  • Familiarity with data reporting, visualization & dashboarding tools.
