Data and AI Future Catalyst Program

You'll join as one of four role types in the Sanofi Data and AI Future Catalyst Program - a 2-year program that will provide you with an unparalleled opportunity to try different projects and learn about our different pharmaceutical business domains. You'll work with multi-faceted teams to design and build AI products, create cutting-edge, scalable platforms, and enable Sanofi to make the best value of data, transforming people's lives in 90+ countries around the global. As a member of Sanofi's Global AI Centre of Excellence in Toronto, you will be working on a team that is globally diverse, with members here in Toronto as well as across our global hubs in France, Spain and USA. You'll be engaged in a structured program that's focused on driving the growth of your technical knowledge and business acumen. Based on your skills and background, you'll be aligned to one of Sanofi's five core data and AI functions to deliver on meaningful strategic initiatives - whether that be in data science, data and business analysis, data and ML engineering, software engineering, or data and AI strategy. This approach ensures that you specialize in your area of interest, while being engaged as part of a larger cohort of colleagues to collectively build core skills in strategic problem solving, product design, agile ways of working, and leadership. Upon completion of the two years, you'll be provided the opportunity to a preferred position, responding to Sanofi's business needs.

Location: Our team uses a hybrid working model combining remote and office-based work.

We are located in the greater downtown area of Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Eligibility

We are interested in meeting Undergraduate, Masters and PhD students who have graduated from their latest degree within the last 24 months of May 2023.

Minimum GPA 3.0/grade B is preferred

Catalyst Program - Data and AI Strategy Analyst

Data and AI Strategy Analyst - As a data and AI strategy analyst, you'll have the opportunity to input and drive Sanofi's enterprise data and AI strategy, working with stakeholders across R&D Data & AI, Real World Data, Commercial Data & Analytics, Industrial Affairs Data & Analytics, and our transversal teams who work on Data Engineering and AI Platforms. You'll contribute to highly scalable strategic initiatives that affect all on the Digital Data team, such as our innovation strategy, standardization of data upskilling, our agile transformation, and portfolio planning and budgeting.

Job Highlights:
  • Develop detailed knowledge of Sanofi's data and AI portfolio of programs and products
  • Gain experience on a broad range of strategic projects based on background and business need (e.g. Responsible AI, Innovation M&A, etc.)
  • Research industry best practices and contribute to strategic and executive reporting
  • Build close relationships across the entire Digital Data team to support efforts in portfolio management, program management, resourcing, and budgeting
  • Design and support the facilitation of large strategic workshops to engage with the broader team and collect input on key priorities
  • Contribute to recruitment and marketing efforts, through liaison with our Sanofi Canada affiliates
  • Use tools such as JIRA for agile project management, PowerBI for dashboard development, and ServiceNow for portfolio management
  • Collaborate frequently with all other teams across Digital Data, and key stakeholders from other Digital teams such as Digital Strategy and Digital Portfolio
Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in a STEM field preferred, with foundational business knowledge. Previous co-op / internship experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with any or all of: data storytelling, strategy planning, project management, agile ways of working, business analysis, data analysis, data visualization, executive reports
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tell a meaningful and persuasive story through reporting
  • Strong critical thinker with decision-making and judgement skills
  • Demonstrated leadership potential (e.g. through Student Organizations, previous jobs, etc.)
  • Passion for life sciences and global healthcare
