Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization

• Develop and execute logistics strategies that align with overall business goals.
• Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and digitalization to enhance supply chain performance.

2. Supplier & Carrier Management

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key logistics providers to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.
• Develop dual-source strategies to mitigate risks and enhance supply chain resilience.
• Negotiate contracts and performance metrics (KPIs) to drive accountability.

3. Cost & Efficiency Management

• Drive cost-out initiatives to improve EBITDA and working capital .
• Reduce lead times and optimize freight spend through route optimization, modal shifts, and network design .
• Implement Duty & Tariff strategies to maximize savings and compliance.

4. Risk & Resilience Management

• Identify and mitigate logistics risks, including geopolitical, economic, and natural disaster impacts.
• Develop contingency plans for critical supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and ESG policies.

5. Digital Transformation & Analytics

• Leverage AI, IoT, and data analytics for real-time visibility and predictive decision-making.
• Utilize KPIs and dashboards to monitor logistics performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with procurement, operations, finance, and commercial teams to align logistics strategies with business priorities.
• Benchmark high-performing logistics teams.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

The Strategic Logistics Leader will:

• Ensure that for a given tender/project all internal units and external suppliers involved in the tender/project will be effectively managed in order to provide the best execution in terms of cost, quality and delivery.
• Be responsible for ensuring that competitive transport quotations as well as firming, cost solidity and risks are documented and delivered to the tender manager based on the bid timeline in order to win orders. It is important to ensure that the costs delivered will allow the project to execute the project within budget or below budget.
• Ensures proper schedule cycles are included in tenders for transportation to ensure successfully execution of projects once awarded.
• Develops project and logistics strategies to optimize total landed costs and transportation cycles
• Ensures complete robust Contracts and SOWs are put in place to mitigate risks, drive cost reductions and maintain cycle
• Works closely with the project planning to establish proper schedules for delivery of materials/documentation
• Supports the logistics providers claim processing working closely with contract management

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Logistics or equivalent degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in major Project Logistics Management
• Ability and willingness to travel domestic & internationally 10% of the time. Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies

The salary range for this position is 98,400.00 - 131,200.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. 98,400.00 - 131,200.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual

2. Gestion des fournisseurs et des transporteurs


Etablir et entretenir des partenariats solides avec les principaux fournisseurs de logistique pour garantir la fiabilite du service et la rentabilite.

Developper des strategies a double source pour attenuer les risques et ameliorer la resilience de la chaine d'approvisionnement.

Negociez des contrats et des indicateurs de performance (KPI) pour favoriser la responsabilisation.

3. Gestion des couts et de l'efficacite


Mener des initiatives de reduction des couts pour ameliorer l'EBITDA et le fonds de roulement.

Reduisez les delais de livraison et optimisez les depenses de fret grace a l'optimisation des itineraires, aux transferts modaux et a la conception du reseau.

Mettre en oeuvre des strategies de droits et tarifs pour maximiser les economies et la conformite.

4. Gestion des risques et de la resilience


Identifiez et attenuez les risques logistiques, y compris les impacts des catastrophes geopolitiques, economiques et naturelles.

Elaborer des plans d'urgence en cas de perturbations critiques de la chaine d'approvisionnement.

Assurer le respect des reglementations commerciales, des exigences douanieres et des politiques ESG.

5. Transformation numerique et analyses


Tirez parti de l'IA, de l'IoT et de l'analyse des donnees pour une visibilite en temps reel et une prise de decision predictive.

Utilisez des KPI et des tableaux de bord pour surveiller les performances logistiques et identifier les opportunites d'amelioration continue.

6. Collaboration et leadership interfonctionnels


Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les equipes d'approvisionnement, d'exploitation, financieres et commerciales pour aligner les strategies logistiques sur les priorites de l'entreprise.

Le leader de la logistique strategique :

• Veiller a ce que pour un appel d'offres/projet donne, toutes les unites internes et fournisseurs externes impliques dans l'appel d'offres/projet seront geres efficacement afin de fournir la meilleure execution en termes de cout, de qualite et de livraison.
• Etre responsable de veiller a ce que les devis de transport competitifs ainsi que la fermete, la solidite des couts et les risques soient documentes et fournis au gestionnaire d'appel d'offres en fonction du calendrier de l'offre afin de remporter les commandes. Il est important de s'assurer que les couts fournis permettront au projet d'executer le projet dans les limites du budget ou en dessous du budget.
• S'assure que des cycles de calendrier appropries sont inclus dans les offres de transport afin de garantir la reussite de l'execution des projets une fois attribues.
• Developpe des strategies de projet et de logistique pour optimiser les couts totaux au debarquement et les cycles de transport
• S'assure que des contrats et des SOW complets et robustes sont mis en place pour attenuer les risques, generer des reductions de couts et maintenir le cycle.
• Travailler en etroite collaboration avec la planification du projet pour etablir des calendriers appropries pour la livraison des materiaux/documentations
• Prend en charge le traitement des reclamations des prestataires logistiques en travaillant en etroite collaboration avec la gestion des contrats

Exigences:

• Baccalaureat en logistique ou diplome equivalent
• Minimum 10 ans d'experience en gestion logistique de projets majeurs
• Capacite et volonte de voyager au niveau national et international 10 % du temps. Doit se conformer a toutes les politiques de voyage et fiscales pertinentes de l'entreprise
