What You'll Do

Content Creation & Storytelling

Capture photos and videos at programs, events, and community gatherings. Proactively pitch and lead the production of short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels) and longer-form content for campaigns, training, and promotion. Proactively pitch and lead the creation of blog posts, articles, and social media content in collaboration with the Coordinator. Provide real-time event coverage (e.g., Instagram Stories, live tweeting).

Planning & Coordination

Collaborate with the Story and Connections Coordinator on messaging, tone, and content strategy. Maintain and update the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts. Assist in planning creative campaigns and pitch new ideas that engage community audiences. Monitor social media comments during events, respond where appropriate, and flag sensitive issues.

Data Management

Gather monthly analytics on social media performance to inform strategy. Recommend strategy adjustments in collaboration with the Coordinator. Maintain and organize multimedia photo/video libraries, and file systems.

Other Information
