Position: Retail Manager Location: Downtown Peterborough, Canada We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our new trendy concept store, "The Doctors House," located in historic downtown Peterborough. This multimillion-dollar retail destination combines high-end urban athletic apparel with art, wellness, and community outreach. As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing operations, and creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, utilizing various channels including social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), networking, and organizing book tours.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, including celebrities and social media influencers, to promote and sell products from celebrity-backed designers and unique one-of-a-kind items.
• Ensure the store\'s merchandise is properly displayed, priced, and stocked to maximize sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Collaborate with the owner, Dr. Rita Kilislian, and her daughter, Alexa (Drippy Curnew), to align marketing strategies and product selection with the store\'s vision and target audience.
• Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and placing orders to maintain adequate inventory.
• Utilize computer skills to manage point-of-sale systems, track sales performance, and generate reports for analysis.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store\'s layout and displays are visually appealing and align with the brand\'s image.
• Implement marketing initiatives and promotions to drive foot traffic and increase customer engagement.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating the team to achieve individual and store-wide targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in retail management, preferably in a high-end or fashion-oriented environment.
• Strong sales skills with a focus on customer engagement and relationship building.
• Excellent marketing skills to effectively promote products through various channels, including social media platforms.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• An extraverted personality with exceptional interpersonal and networking skills.
• Demonstrated hustle and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve success.
• Computer literate, comfortable with point-of-sale systems and data analysis.
• Presentable, personable, and able to represent the store and brand professionally.
