We are in search for a Manager to join our team at our Oakville Place Danish Coffee Roasters Kiosk. On top of the salary there are also tips which add approximately $2.00 to $3.00 an hr, when factored in
This person will Maximize the effectiveness and profitability of the store while creating a stimulating work environment. Reporting Structure: Reports to: Regional Manager Reporting to this position: Assistant Manager, Sales Associate/Barista
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Leading and managing the day-to-day store operations
? Delivering on established performance objectives and reporting progress to assess the performance of the store
? Responsible for meeting the financial monthly targets
? Adherence to the brand identity
? In-depth product knowledge and insight; ability to make recommendations to customers
? Identification of staffing needs, staff planning, and schedule development based on work demands and trends
? Recruitment and retention of staff, (Recruitment includes interviews, reference checks, and arranging background checks)
? Provide proper training to all sale staff
? Ensuring compliance with laws, by-laws, policies, including but not limited to public health, health and safety, employment, AODA, human rights. etc.
? Providing inspiring leadership to all staff
? Serving as a coach, leader and mentor to all direct reports
? Address and manage employee performance issues or concerns in a timely manner
? Commitment to the policies, processes and expectations of the company
? Position includes key holder responsibilities, opening and closing the store
? Ordering inventory and product stock; ensuring sufficient levels to meet daily demand
? Maximize loss prevention through adherence through best practices including theft-prevention protocols
? Maintaining a customer-first mindset; addressing issues and complaints identified by staff and/or customers
? Adhere to standards for store opening, closing, cash handling, and bank deposits
? Maintain and present a clean and organized store at all times

? Barista/espresso based coffee experience, 1 year or more

? Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
? Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
? Candidates must have barista and management experience
? Capacity to build rapport, strong team development, motivating high performance and quality
? Strong communication skills (written, verbal and electronic)
? Management abilities to implement policies and procedures
? Familiar with health and safety and employment standards, and public health (food)
? Proven ability to solve problems and take initiative
