Job Description
Overview:
The Stone Installer Helper will provide hands-on support to the Stone Installer in executing high-quality stonework for luxury residential and retail construction projects. This role involves assisting with preparation, installation, and maintenance tasks while ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and installation of marble and other natural stone materials. Support with repairs and maintenance of stone floors, walls, and ceilings in high-end residential and retail environments. Take accurate measurements, assist in cutting stone, and mix Dry Pack or Thinset as required. Aid in grouting, protecting, and cleaning stone surfaces during and after installation. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support project completion and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Genuine interest and enthusiasm for learning the craft of stone installation. Self-motivated, reliable, and possessing a strong work ethic. Ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Physically demanding role requiring lifting up to 60 lbs. Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. * Ability to handle heavy materials safely and efficiently in various site conditions.
