Job Summary

Slab Savvy Installations LTD. is a top quality installations company who specializes in various stones cut from slabs for a wide range of applications. These include Quartz, porcelain, Marbles, Granite and sintered stones. Whilst countertops are the most common application we install stone in any area the client can dream; Fireplaces, showers, wall paneling, floors and more. We service a large region of Southern Ontario. All drive time is paid

We are seeking a skilled Individual, responsible for executing various installation tasks with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and be proficient in multiple installation techniques. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position will work with and report to the Lead Hand crew member.

Must have a clean driving record and be comfortable highway driving

Responsibilities

Read and interpret shop drawings to determine installation specifications. Perform duties accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Stock truck daily with supplies and adhesives required to accomplish the days tasks Apply tidy beads of caulking to seal joints and gaps for a finished appearance. Operate power tools in a safe manor to prep job site for install; jig saws, multi tool, drills, skill saws, angle grinders. Assist in all product being loaded and unloaded into the clients home while ensuring all prevention metrics are in place to avoid damages to the site. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.

Qualifications

Experience in installation or construction is preferred. G class drivers license is preferred or attainable. Comfort in communicating to clients with Customer Service as primary focus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. ability to lift greater than 100 lbs regularly. proficiently able to read imperial dimensions and tape measure. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Must adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Reliability and positive attitude. have own car to get to and from work daily
