Position Summary

The position is responsible for stone countertops manufacturing. This includes cutting, shaping and polishing stone slabs; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and material handling.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm (10 hrs.)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Read and interpret company production drawings Cut stone to size as per work order and drawings provided Shape the stone to the configuration requested Inspect stone for any defects/imperfections Polish and profile countertop edges Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines Contribute to team efforts and complete other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of basic mathematics Ability to read paperwork to complete designated tasks Attention to details Outstanding attendance and punctuality Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Experience working with stone countertops production an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
