Job Description

TSF - The Stone Fabricator Inc, located in Ottawa, one of the fastest growing corporations in Eastern Ontario, in the industry of measurements, fabrication & installation of custom projects using stone slabs ( Quartz, Granite, etc), is looking for an Office Manager/Bookkeeper, to assume that role, during the maternity leave period taken by the professional currently in that position. Once the current Office Manager comes back from "maternity leave", you will support her, and will take responsibility for the Bookkeeping/ Office Manager function of some companies of the group.

Primary responsibilities

Finance

Assist the President on daily tasks.

Maintain financial records

by entering daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. Reconciling all financial records Working with the accountant to review and prepare financial reports Auditing and processing expense reports Processing payments to suppliers Maintaining historical records

Balance books

and

reconcile discrepancies

in ledgers. Administer

payroll for employees

organization of customer and supplier's files Printing, sorting and filing purchase orders, invoices and delivery slips. Reconciling credit card and bank statements. Reviewing work orders' compliance with pricing policies Preparing timesheets, bonuses and sales commissions records for payroll processing
General administration

Procurement and provisioning of office supplies in a timely and cost-effective way. Supervising compliance with company procedures and policies Preparing and assembling documents to assist the Executive Committee Other office and facilities administrative duties as required.

Requirements

A minimum of Five (5) years of experience as a Bookkeeper / Office Manager. Knowledgeable on "Accounting Principles". Human Resources experience desirable. Familiar with the granite/quartz industry is an asset. Proficient with software applications like MS Office, accounting software and Payroll Software proficiency. Holding a valid G class driver's license. Exceptional time management skills High level of confidentiality and professional discretion. Strong attention to detail. Good interpersonal communication skills. Excellent customer service attitude. Team-oriented and collaborative approach. Strong work ethics. High level of responsibility and reliability. Professionalism in manner and appearance.
