This is a three-year, full-service joint venture located in the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Last mined in 2017, the Stobie property is ramping back up in response to the world\xe2\x80\x99s increasing demand for critical minerals, and social and economic benefits for the local communities.The Opportunity:We are currently seeking Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians to join our Stobie Open Pit Mine in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a permanent position, supporting a 24 hour, 7 days a week, operation.As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling, servicing and maintaining underground mobile mining equipment. Your experience and skills will contribute to scheduled or emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance work to be done in the shop or field.Additionally, in this position, you will:

• Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, assemble, replace and test internal combustion, electric mobile equipment and electric/hydraulic production equipment and related systems.
• To perform metal welding, excluding pressure welding.
• Align with work safety policies and safety regulations.

About YouFully Licensed Journeyperson:Trade Certification: Either in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A), Automotive Service Technician (310S), Truck and Coach Technician (310T) or Agricultural Equipment Technician (425A) is required.Skills:

• 24 VDC wiring/control systems.
• Maintenance of hydraulic systems on mobile equipment.
• Braking systems \xe2\x80\x9cABA\xe2\x80\x9d on large mobile equipment
