Vale and Thiess have partnered on the Stobie Open Pit Mining Project. This is a three-year, full-service joint venture located in the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Last mined in 2017, the Stobie property is ramping back up in response to the worlds increasing demand for critical minerals, and social and economic benefits for the local communities.The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians to join our Stobie Open Pit Mine in Sudbury, Ontario. The Apprentice role is an entry-level permanent position.Vale is seeking to increase diversity across our operations and improve equal opportunity at Vale and in the mining industry. • Education: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician college diploma is required.
• Experience: 6 months or more of industrial experience is preferred.
