As part of Defy Gravity: The Campaign for the University of Toronto, we seek to harness the talent, generosity, and compassion of our global community to strengthen the University\'s commitment to inclusive excellence and accelerate work on the most complex issues facing our world today.Your opportunity:The Stewardship Coordinator will function as a key member of the Stewardship and Operations team in the Advancement Office of the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering. Reporting to the Associate Director, Stewardship & Donor Relations, this position will work closely with the fundraising team to strategize and execute donor engagement plans to achieve our fundraising goals. This role will play a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with our donors, ensuring their continued engagement and support by making them valued, appreciated, and connected to our organization\'s mission.Your responsibilities will include:

  • In coordination with fundraisers, develop and implement plans to support donor management and stewardship.
  • Coordinate donor acknowledgments, including drafting donor recognition communications, coordinate updates to digital and physical donor recognition.
  • Support bespoke stewardship touch points and events, including organizing logistics and post-initiative evaluation.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders when required and donors when requested in order to confirm missing information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information in the organization\'s donor database.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of donor relations or stewardship experience or an acceptable combination of lived experience, knowledge of fundraising practices and experience in similar sectors.
  • Past experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders i.e. volunteers, team members, donors.
  • Demonstrates initiative, tact, diplomacy, attention to detail and creativity.
  • The incumbent should be comfortable interacting with donors face-to-face in support of advancement and stewardship efforts.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, and databases.

USW Pay Band 10 -- $69,455 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $88,819. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
