Job Description


Summary

As Scientists Helping Scientists, STEMCELL Technologies is dedicated to providing ongoing educational support to the scientific community via training courses, information resources, and other science communication services. We are excited to be developing StainsFile, an online educational resource for biomedical scientists seeking information on protocols, materials, and utilities of various chemical dyes and staining techniques. The team is looking for a scientist with expertise in histochemistry and a passion for science communication to support the development and management of this fantastic resource and associated offerings.

In this role, you will work cross-departmentally to develop and grow the StainsFile program. You will maintain an expert level of understanding of protocols, materials, and utilities of dyes and cell staining techniques, and will leverage this knowledge to form relationships and partnerships with the histochemistry community.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to provide an online education resource of histochemistry techniques
  • Manage website content, update existing content, and develop new content in alignment with STEMCELL\xe2\x80\x99s Marketing and Business Operations teams
  • Maintain a cutting-edge understanding of the trends, needs, pain points, successes, and technical developments within the histochemistry community
  • Build partnerships with external stakeholders, including histochemistry societies, institutes, and services
  • Track and report on program analytics and use this data to inform on strategies and decisions
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Minimum MSc with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, or PhD with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in histochemistry and project management is required
  • Experience in digital marketing is an asset
  • Ability to liaise and build relationships with external stakeholders in academia and industry
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
