Our Vancouver client, a rapidly growing CPA firm who works in a very diverse business sector, seeks a Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Reporting to the partner of this well run personable Public Practice firm, the successful Staff Accountant will be responsible for:
- Producing financial statements including compilations
- Reviewing month end transactions
- Preparing corporate year ends
- Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
- Preparing statistical, financial, and management reports for clients
To qualify for this exciting opportunity:
- You must be registered in the CPA accounting program
- You have minimum 1 year of accounting experience; public practice experience will be considered an asset
- You have a demonstrated ability to perform the above duties, possess great interpersonal skills and a willingness to put your can-do work ethic to take on other duties as required
- Working knowledge of tax filing software and an intermediate user of MS Excel is required
