With projects spanning the residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, we seek an experienced Staff Accountant to help drive their financial accuracy and strategic growth.:We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join the financial team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to senior management. This position does not require professional accounting designations but does require someone with a strong background in accounting within the construction industry.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.\xc2\xb7 Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Analyze financial information to assist business profitability and growth.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with finance team members and other departments to consolidate financials for management review.\xc2\xb7 Provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.\xc2\xb7 Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.\xc2\xb7 Review company liabilities, revenue, and expenses to ensure they are accurately recorded.\xc2\xb7 Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting systems and policies for the setup.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a staff accountant or senior accountant, preferably within the construction industry.\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of accounting theory, principles and practices.\xc2\xb7 Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.\xc2\xb7 Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:\xc2\xb7 Competitive salary package\xc2\xb7 Health, dental, and vision insurance\xc2\xb7 Retirement savings plan\xc2\xb7 Generous paid time off\xc2\xb7 Opportunities for professional developmentRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
