Job Summary

Work closely with the Global Medical Affairs Department. Responsible for assisting with development of templates (letters, forms, reports and queries) and documentation management, plus scheduling and tracking for Global Medical Affairs Projects. Cross-training opportunities on an Apotex Patient Registry Risk Management program, DISPedia and exposure to Health Hazard Assessments.

You will be working closely with Global Information Services (GIS), Compliance, Validation (QA-CSVC), Commercial, SHE, Quality Assurance, and other areas in the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works as a member of the Global Medical Affairs Team to achieve set goals and meet expected project deadlines.
  • Assist the Apotex Patient registry risk management program and DISPedia with various projects.
  • Evaluates data using spreadsheets and databases, and performs quantitative/qualitative analysis.
  • Updates standard operating documents to reflect changes in process.
  • Occasional filing, scanning, copying, or printing of relevant electronic/hard copy records as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary Co-op education program
  • Detailed Oriented
  • Technical experience with database development or maintenance
  • Familiarity with basic SQL coding skills
  • Excellent oral written & communication skills (English)
  • Excellent knowledge of Acrobat Adobe and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.
  • User level knowledge of Oracle Clinical would be an asset.
  • Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with changing priorities
