Position Summary:

The Knowledge Management (KM) Coop Student is a great critical thinker and problem solver, working to contribute meaningfully to vast and fast growing Knowledge Base at Appficinecy. They are also highly organized in order to help coordinate Learning and Development activities between the Knowledge Management Department and SST.

This individual will have excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. As part of the Software team, they will work closely with the CEO and Software Delivery team to codify and transform the knowledge produced within the team, into easily understood and scalable educational material.

This individual also has a breadth of transferable skills including technical writing, basic visual design, ability to work with data on Excel/Gsheet, and recognize the importance of ERP in businesses.

The KM Co-op will play a pivotal role in the business and will support SST\xe2\x80\x99s change management initiatives in order to achieve the department\xe2\x80\x99s targets, including using their knowledge to support other initiatives, such as Marketing projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate on a regular basis with employees in other Departments about the topics and knowledge generated in SST
  • Uses organizational skills to and identify steps and tasks required to achieve Project Charter Goals
  • Create presentations decks from new concepts and knowledge created in SST
  • Provide support to Lessonly Content Creators by providing them with the necessary information (in a deck) and required artifacts for course creation
  • Develop and help facilitate educational sessions for leadership and consultants
  • Ability to use Canva and iMovies (or other simple video editing software).
  • Uses critical thinking and problem solving skills to support the design of high externally- oriented marketing artifacts and presentations
  • Support marketing strategy creation and execution
  • Plans team bonding events
  • Uses Google Drives and Google documents, as well a confluence
  • Benchmarking other training programs and providing critical feedback on the efficacy of existing training material
  • Collect and organize feedback following training sessions
  • Ability to work closely with and listen to colleagues explain their needs for learning and training, using critical thinking and problem solving skills, and then summarizing and sharing their learning needs with the KM team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in human resources, psychology, marketing or business
  • Interest in Training and development
  • Knowledge of business and IT software development is an asset
  • Knowledge of good techniques for business presentations is an asset
  • Must be comfortable interacting with data and technical documents
  • Must be open to learning Enterprise Software Consulting (ERP, SAS, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud etc)
  • Must be able to create basic visual artifacts such a graphs, mockups and visual guides for educational presentations
