Can you administer end-to-end aspects of recruitment process for specialized talent? Are you passionate about relationship building and cultivating strong connections by providing thought leadership and big picture thinking? We are looking for a great mentor who can lead a specialized portfolio of TD's recruitment needs as Senior Recruiter I. In this role, you will have fun showcasing your key insights and depth of experience to lead the team in directing and streamlining recruitment and onboarding of talent. You would be expected, but not limited, to:

  • Take informed talent decisions through solid understanding of the Bank and external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent while acting as Talent Advisor
  • Build diverse talent by developing and implementing innovative talent strategies of targeting active and passive candidates as per enterprise methodology, industry regulations and market data
  • Develop and maintain strong relations with HR and business partners to understand talent requirements and provide apt sourcing approaches independently
  • Provide thought leadership in building relations with business partners and shareholders to develop productive working relationships; identify talent market gaps to suggest alternate practices and improvement opportunities to business leaders
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control by ensuring the prepared documents and transactions are within established regulations and operating practices while focusing on specialized portfolio
  • Create a positive Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle in adherence to customer experience model; coach others on the best processes and practices
  • Attract talent through advertising on internet, intranet, social media and other recruiting tools as appropriate to deliver projects and initiatives that varies from monthly to quarterly timeframes
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in leading special initiatives and assessing the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices in line with HR priorities to meet strategic objectives
  • Lead the development and delivery of effective recruiting and diversity strategies, plans and programs, research projects, presentations and communications for management
  • Cultivate a work environment that builds productivity, innovation, process improvement, positivity, integrity and professionalism while maintaining positive attitude and improving knowledge of emerging industry trends and programs

Job Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree with over 5 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition, ideally in a corporate environment
  • 1-2 years experience recruiting for technology roles, with some exposure to Data & Analytics
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced processes; risk, project and change management; and business and operational function to identify, track and resolve gaps effectively
  • Proficiency in software tools, MS Office, data analysis and reporting techniques and internet application
  • Business insight of performing well in complex tasks that involves multiple steps, systems, and regions
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced work environment through strong communication, organizational, planning and time management skills
