Summary
The Corporate Information Security team is hiring a Senior Specialist, Cyber Security reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security. The Specialistis accountable to support the risk management and vulnerability programs at Bell.
Key Responsibilities
Review and advise on information technology system security controls to ensure compliance with industry and corporate standards;
Work closely with security and business leaders / stakeholders to drive security compliance and build a culture of security awareness
Lead meetings, chair conference calls, action follow-ups, and proactively interact with the various Business Units to move projects forward to ultimate completion within required timeframes.
Evaluate and monitor risk assessment and gap remediation processes and provide recommendations for process improvement
Act as a spokesperson and subject matter expert in information security GRC, working in collaboration with Bell stakeholders.
Measure effectiveness of security processes and controls through development of metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
Lead follow-ups and inspections, advising and providing oversight on remediation activities, documentation and reporting
Perform all of the above as they relate to Bell\xe2\x80\x99s affiliates and subsidiaries
Critical Qualifications
Experience in Risk and vulnerability management
University degree / diploma in Computer Science or a field related to IT, IT Security or Information Technology, or a solid combination of education and experience
3+ years of Cyber/Information Security experience
Experience in assessing complex client environments from a technological and security standpoint
Relationship management, communication, reporting and presentation skills are critical
Ability to educate and influence others
Leadership, organization, and planning ability
Curious and passionate for continuous learning
Ability to manage deadlines, priorities and accountabilities
Ability to communicate through analysis and reporting
Team player \xe2\x80\x93 collaborative, adaptive
Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems and databases
Good understanding of networking systems configurations, including firewalls
Good understanding of application architecture, software development lifecycle processes, including secure coding techniques
Good understanding of server and infrastructure virtualization technologies, and cloud implementations across AWS, Azure, GCP
Knowledge of information security concepts, including Tokenization, Cloud technology, Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, Systems hardening, Physical security, Data encryption, File integrity monitoring, and log and monitoring
5+ years of progressive experience in information security and demonstrable understanding of the concepts of information security and principles of information handling and protection
3+ years of experience as a Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) specialist
3+ years of experience in designing and developing procedures, and processes for Information Security best practices
Experience performing risk assessment and management, developing mitigation strategies
Excellent communication skills. Bilingualism is an asset.
Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience working in the telecommunications industry, with knowledge of network security and operations
