Responsibilities:

Ensure the service performance, availability and reliability of all servers, services and microservices in Public Cloud and Private Cloud environments while adhering to established SLAs.

Deliver value optimization through driving research and adoption of best-in-class public and private cloud technologies and services with the goal of learning and improving service quality and reducing costs

Build strong internal customer relationships to ensure we are aligned to customer and business needs while prioritizing key initiatives

Provide operational support to application developers and Service owner including deployments to staging and production environments

Work within established configuration and change management policies ensuring awareness, approval and success of changes made to the areas of responsibility

Work with a team of peers to ensure project and directional alignment within the infrastructure department.

Have a strong focus on security and compliance within a cloud environment

Have a strong focus on metrics, measurement, and reporting on and improving service levels

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience with infrastructure and platform operations, deployments, SRE and DevOps

Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, particularly Python, GoLang, Java or similar languages

Hands-on experience with AWS//Azure infrastructure, systems and architecture in large scale, web-based applications

Extensive experience with container technologies (Docker, K8s, EKS) or serverless cloud architecture

In-depth experience in developing infrastructure as code with technologies like Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer, etc.

Experience in VMware-based private cloud environments including network design, Dell/Cisco L3/L2, Juniper SRX firewalls, VMware vSphere ESXi, NFS and iSCSI storage technologies, and Windows and Linux operating systems

Familiar with various Hybrid cloud monitoring tools, performance monitoring and profiling tools (Grafana+Prometheus)

Strong analytical and design skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
