Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Sr. Quality Manager, Temperature Control (New Consumer Health Company). This position may be located in Clearwater FL; Fort Washington PA; Skillman NJ; Piscataway NJ; Guelph, Ontario, Canada; or Markham, Ontario, Canada.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.
It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Temperature Control Support Center and developing strategies and supporting global initiatives:
  • Leading Delivery Temperature Control Support Center
  • Managing department budget and Temperature Solution Budgets. Aligns budget requirements across regions. Establishes contracts with outside engineering firms.
  • Ensuring consistency and interpretation of temperature requirements globally. Incorporates changing global regulatory requirements into company processes and standards.
  • Identifying, qualifying and deploying optimal solutions that address the storage and distribution temperature needs of the globe. Development of a strategy to optimize the portfolio of current and future temperature solutions.
  • Interacting with Franchises, MAKE and R&D to include all distribution and transportation requirements in the new product design/launch processes.
  • Developing/implementing qualification and validation guidelines and standards for temperature solutions. Partners with Deliver Engineering to establish Facility requirements and guidance
  • Developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with Deliver Leaders, Business Quality, Franchise Product Quality Owners, R&D, etc.
  • Interacting with various regional stakeholders to provide consistency in approach towards compliance/standards.
  • Proactively driving ongoing improvements to the business processes and systems in support of key business objectives. Assist in CIPs, network changes, etc.
  • Support A&D for all business segments. Ensures new businesses are incorporated into Temperature Control program.
  • Engaging 3rd party subject matter experts as required to support studies, strategies, and data analysis.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
  • Engineering or technical degree from an accredited national university.
  • 12 years of broad business experience, with at least 5 years of technical experience in temperature control of healthcare products during storage and transportation.
  • Previous experience interfacing with global regulatory agencies, e.g., ANVISA, INVIMA, FDA, MHRA, TGA, notified bodies, etc., and a history of success and credibility resolving regulatory compliance issues.
  • Experience in positions of increasing responsibility supporting large, multi-site, regional organizations, with broad quality system management experience, including advanced Quality Technology Systems. Expert level knowledge on Audit and Inspection, Change Control, NC/CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, Documentation Control.
  • Proven experience in driving results in a highly complex and rapidly changing environment is required. The ability to drive projects forward to completion while maintaining focus on the long- term strategy is required.
  • Global mindset with proven ability to partner cross culturally and regionally is required.
  • Ability to lead with high levels of ambiguity, complexity and risk.

  • Strong analytical & process orientation.
  • Strong project planning & execution skills.
