AltaGas - Sr Marketing Representative, NGL and Crude Oil
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, NGL and Crude Oil, the Sr Marketing Representative, NGL and Crude Oil supports internal and external stakeholders to maintain, improve, and expand business operations. This position is responsible for ensuring client relations with AltaGas\xe2\x80\x99 agency partners and ensuring accurate system entry of natural gas liquids supply, condensate, and transportation transactions in a timely manner.
You Will:
Assist the Commercial team to grow and develop NGL Oil and Condensate supply and sales
Review, maintain and assist with third party transportation agreements
Prepare annual NGL supply, oil & condensate and truck strategy
Review monthly truck and pipeline scheduling of various truck and pipeline accounts for specific accounts
Review price and product equalization calculation for settlement
Understand product quality and associated risks of NGL and Crude Oil products and work with Engineering and Operations and Asset Teams to optimize qualities
Ensure proper contract and policy requirements are in place prior to any deal executions
Ensure commercial terms of Agreements are fair and complete, de-risking the company
Interface and collaborate with various internal AltaGas groups including Legal, Accounting, Risk, Tax, Engineering, Corporate Finance, Logistics, and Operations
Identify, and help execute optimization opportunities across AltaGas\xe2\x80\x99 portfolio of products and facilities, which may include logistics and business development opportunities
Work with AltaGas Operations and Engineering to optimize the commercial value of AltaGas\xe2\x80\x99 NGL assets to reflect the current and future market environment
Attend Asset Team meetings for facilities associated with NGL and Crude Oil Lease purchase and sales
Support, assist and perform as necessary ad hoc pipe, storage, and truck logistics activities
Maintain a strong understanding of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemical markets and their impacts on NGL market fundamentals and AltaGas\xe2\x80\x99 business
You Have:
Relevant university degree in either Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
5-10 years of commercial operations experience with a focus on NGL, Condensate, Crude Oil and LPG markets
Previous market experience outside of Western Canada will be considered an asset
Hands on experience managing midstream facilities including nominations, scheduling and optimizing asset performance
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability and aptitude to excel in an unstructured work environment
Independent, accountable, and biased to action
Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; self-motivated to deliver exceptional financial results; and a focus on maximizing team performance
