The Opportunity:
As the Crude Oil Logistics Coordinator you will be primarily accountable for all activities associated with the movement of crude oil and condensate from the wellhead to downstream sales markets via trucks, pipeline and rail. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers, pipeline companies and industry participants. Key Accountabilities:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of: pipeline rules and regulations, pipeline capacities, tolling and apportionment calculations, COLC procedures, contract pricing elements, the industry quality equalization process, and the heavy oil blending formula
  • Analyze delivery options, perform comparative detailed economic evaluations to identify the most cost effective delivery alternatives to maximize our realized wellhead netback value
  • Review and verify Form C supplies from pipelines/terminals and submit original Notices of Shipment (NOS)
  • Monitor field production during the month in progress to identify supply/demand imbalances, by utilizing field data capture software and communication with production engineers and field staff. Submit revised Form A\xe2\x80\x99s, Form B\xe2\x80\x99s, and NOS as required
  • Consult with pipeline staff to ensure CNR\xe2\x80\x99s production is moving according to our NOS nominations and in compliance with our purchase and sales contracts
  • Ensure the data in Egistix and on the Supply Demand worksheets accurately reflect our business activities

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business or engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within a crude oil marketing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office word-processing and spreadsheet applications is required
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills coupled with a solid understanding of crude oil markets in western Canada is required
  • Thorough understanding of crude oil netback analysis and key commercial terms is required
