As ATB's next Sr Manager, Marketing & Communications on the Culture, Communications, and Marketing team, you will lead Marketing & Communications (MarCom) strategy development and execution and deliver integrated campaigns and initiatives that engage Albertans, deliver value and ultimately contribute to ATB's brand equity.

Sr Marketing Manager Accountabilities

  • Understand and contribute to development of effective, SMART MarCom strategies that support our purpose and strategic plan.
  • Work in an agile environment with marcom and creative experts to deliver tactical execution in alignment to Brand strategies.
  • Contribute significantly to the delivery of integrated mass market campaigns.
  • Champion the execution of ATB's Brand - as a financial institution but also as a purpose filled organization - supporting our Social Innovation, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, Talent and Innovation focused stakeholders to create awareness of ATB's overall value proposition.
  • Translate and champion ATB's new brand model, connecting it to organizational objectives and ensuring the model comes to life across numerous Brand and enterprise touch points.
  • Utilize brand experiential philosophy and non-traditional methods as ways to engage and connecting with our audience.
  • Apply comprehensive client insights, data and information derived from personas and segmentation research to strategies and tactics.
  • Bring the ATB brand to life by consistently interpreting and applying ATB's brand across enterprise internal and external initiatives, programs and experiences at ATB not just those within Reputation & Brand.
Able to establish and cultivate strong relationships with internal and/or external clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding and experience in building marketing and communications strategy and tactics, with an emphasis on earned, owned and shared channel strategies and executions
  • Solid foundation and experience in brand building, brand management and marketing are highly desirable
  • Experience building communications plans and delivering on reputation objectives
  • PR and Media experience an asset
  • Experience with digital platforms and marketing - building, leveraging, measuring
  • Experience with traditional marketing channels and platforms
  • Ability to develop strategic insight amongst ambiguity, setting optimal direction forward
  • Solid understanding of current and emerging Social Media and experience in developing engaging content/ experiences within them.
  • Experience with non-traditional, experiential marketing
  • Experience in an agile marketing methodology is preferred
  • Experience working with multi-division or multi-product brands an asset
