Position Summary: The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for Finance, Reporting, Analysis and Business support for the Lab Automation and Cameras & Imagers product lines, a rapidly growing $100M global business. This role reports to the Sr Finance Director of AAT. A key aspect of this role is finance business partnership and providing thought leadership as a member of the product line leadership team. The successful candidate will use data and provide insights to influence and drive continued growth and strong business performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly/quarterly financial forecasting and reporting process for the LA/C&I BU\xe2\x80\x99s through a detailed analysis of the full P&L. Includes all key financial metrics and analysis reporting with recommendations Support weekly booking and revenue forecasting including alignment with sales team and global commercial team Partner with Product Line General Manager, Operations Leader, Product Managers, and Marketing to understand production schedule and financial outcomes Leads all activities for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, including contingency planning Lead team of local Controllership and Factory Accounting (1 manager with 4 direct reports). Responsibilities will include training, mentoring and development. Use both a broad range of reporting tools and analysis to drive data reporting efficiency, improve analytics and forecast accuracy, analyze and identify risks and opportunities, and drive concrete actions. Take a leadership role in guiding business direction and strategy, including thought leadership as a key member of leadership for both the Lab Automation and Cameras & Imagers businesses Understand and articulate root causes of all aspects of financial performance, including Bookings, Revenue, Gross margin, and EBITA Identify and develop initiatives to constantly improve performance of the business, including margin expansion (product mix, pricing, productivity) Support analytical and ad hoc requirements for AAT business unit and division Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 8+ years of dynamic experience in Finance leadership roles. Experience in leading global business preferred. BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or related field desired Hyperion and sophisticated Excel required, understanding of business intelligence platforms including Power BI. Self-motivated; high bias for action and timely project completion Strong analytical skills with experience in developing business processes and system improvements to drive efficiency Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to summarize and present information in a concise and effective manner Demonstrates strong leadership skills and an initiative/creativity to inspire change with a hands-on approach and a driven focus on results Demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values \xe2\x80\x93 Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement
