Intro


The Cyber Security Practice provides cyber security service to the enterprises. This is an area of significant strategic importance & investment for Bell Business Markets. We are seeking a dynamic, results focused and self-driven Senior Manager as the Lead for our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) internal services.

Role Summary:
The GRC Lead will report to the Network and Security Practice GM and be responsible for all matters of Governance, Risk and Compliance internal to the Bell Business Market Business Unit. This would includes but not limited to coordination of requirements with our Corporate Security teams, ensuring support to RFP compliance requirements, and support for customer requests.
Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
  • Relationship and team building; ability to lead geographically dispersed virtual teams; in either remote or office environments
  • Ensure BBM team complies with the annual corporate security action plan
  • Liaise with all the key stake holders in case of internal or client security incidents
  • Lead and implement projects related to privacy requirements derived from legal requirements
  • Provide support for customer engagements and audits requirements
  • Owner of the BBM certifications programs
  • Respond to escalations regarding the BBM GRC portfolio
  • Promote and implement changes within an existing business process or environment
  • Experience in both project and strategic program management
  • Deliver effective executive presentations and program dashboard views
  • Establish Team program plan, engaged team members to obtain alignment and commitment
  • Build transition plans when team member responsibilities change
  • Establish resource career growth and training plans with all team members


Critical Qualifications


  • 5 years of pertinent experience knowledge in governance risk and compliance (GRC)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both English & French, both orally and written
  • Previous experience in telecom or technology is a strong asset (Service Provider, OEM, or Tech Firm)
  • Strong leadership , communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen and understanding of basic financial indicators (eg. ROI, DPP, TCV , etc)
  • Knowledge of security industry standards, regulation and compliancy
  • Understanding of security standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, ISF IRAM2
  • Understanding of Operational security audits such as SOC 2 Type 2, ISAE 3402 and CSAE 3000
  • Experience in Coordination/Planning
  • Ability to lead meetings with both hosted or virtual teams; in either virtual remote or office environments
  • Ability to inspire a positive work environment and provide positive and constructive feedback to team members
  • Organized and has a good capacity for analysis when confronted with challenges
  • Plan and prioritize work load, adapt to priority changes and manage with work interruptions
  • Ability to peer coach employees to meet desired outcomes and deliverables
  • Awareness of Canadian security and privacy regulation


Preferred Qualifications


  • Basic knowledge of security products and services in both wireline and wireless architectures
  • Awareness of development testing
  • Basic financial acumen and awareness of SoX compliancy
  • Basic understanding of legal acumen and contract language
  • Basic understanding of Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA, CPPA)
  • Knowledge of multiple service development methodologies including waterfall and agile
  • Information security awareness
  • Understanding of asset management and vulnerability management practices
