We are looking for a strong leader to join Information & Cyber Security Unit as Manager, Cyber Security Platforms Operations.

In addition to being able to manage simultaneous complex tasks, successful candidates should be able to lead, mentor and manage a team of application and systems support professionals in supporting various platforms and programs.

What you will be doing...

  • Develop new operational patterns, process and procedures to improve support of platforms in scope.
  • Review processes to determine platforms resiliency posture.
  • Asses and recommend augmentation of operational capacity of the team.
  • Ensure administrative functions are completed on time and within scope.
  • Participate and support in the establishment of yearly platforms currency and support roadmaps.
  • Conduct resiliency exercises (Table-top tests) for Change Management activities.
  • Liaise with various suppliers and internal technology, engineering, and other operations groups to satisfy day-to-day operational activities.
  • Effectively communicate operational status, risks and recommendations to a diverse audience from technical staff to senior leaders.
  • Follow up and drive to conclusion actions and plans regarding operational resiliency and platform health.
What you have (mandatory skills)
  • 3+ years of people leadership in a technical environments
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing server-based and SaaS/Cloud applications in scope of cybersecurity
  • Experience with privacy issues and awareness of regulated data environments (i.e.: PCI, SOX, FERPA, HIPAA, and COPPA).
  • Effective communication skills to varying audiences, including senior executives, technology peers, and government officials.
  • Able to analyze complex security issues and provide pragmatic options and recommendations.
  • Strong business and technical acumen.
  • Can direct and manage multiple priorities in high pressure situations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC or similar certification and training is an asset.
  • Proficiency in O365 applications (Teams, Visio, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, PowerBI)
  • Experience with data formats (JSON, YAML, XML).
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases
  • Experience with ServiceNow , JIRA, Numerify
  • Fundamental understanding of I/P/SaaS, Public & Private Cloud, Virtualization technologies.
  • Programing/Scripting knowledge in Java, Python or PowerShell an asset
