Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst for Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for creating accurate reports and providing innovative solutions. You will prepare statements and period end reports and be asked to reconcile and analyze accordingly.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis, we\'d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial information including proformas for rebids
  • Leverage technology to streamline current work flows
  • Improve data flows through innovative solutions
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance/Accounting department which includes preparation of the weekly flash reports
  • Process transactions and journal entries using the G/L
  • Prepare financial statements and period end reporting
  • Reconcile and analyze accounts as required
  • Document items as required, such as business requirements, issues and decision logs, and stakeholder training and presentations

  • Business, Accounting, or Finance student working towards a CPA designation
  • Full Knowledge of Financial Principles
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Financial services and/or audit experience would be considered an asset
