What you\'ll be doing

Enterprise Wires Modernization (EWM) is a multi-year program that will implement a new modernized wire payment platform. As a Sr Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, you\xe2\x80\x99ll support collaborative end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology following values, principles and practices of application delivery. You\xe2\x80\x99ll participate in all phases of application delivery with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best in class client experience. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s enterprise architecture roadmap. You\xe2\x80\x99ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How you\'ll succeed

Understanding and Documenting Requirements - * Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Solution Design - * Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Perform detailed analysis of vendor solutions against business requirements and technology standards.

Leading and Mentoring \xe2\x80\x93 * Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

  • Relationship Management-
  • Establish and manage relationship with internal clients, vendors, infrastructure partners, stakeholders and/or senior and executive management; interface and maintain communications with Business and Technology management. Develop rapport with vendor stakeholders for vendor applications.
  • Strong Leadership -
  • Be a bold and authentic leader who is passionate about developing and coaching to bring out the best in people. Direct, motivate, develop and manage performance of the management team and key staff.
Who you are

You can demonstrate experience with: Must have breadth and depth of experience with SWIFT wire payments, MT and ISO20022. * Must have good working knowledge on accounting/settlement/reconciliation in the SWIFT wire domain. It is an asset if you are familiar with Lynx and other RTGS systems.
  • 5+ years in a BSA role leading projects (waterfall and/or agile), eliciting requirements, identifying gaps and problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills used across business and technology stakeholders
  • Experience with SDLC including analysis and support during testing, and identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Experience creating process flows on Visio and Office365 applications, Jira-Confluence.
