About This Role The Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) is looking for a Sr. BSA to support technology platforms across the Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department to measure and manage market risk (interest rate, equity, and foreign exchange) for the TD Bank\xe2\x80\x99s retail portfolios, both in Canada and US. This group creates models, financial systems, applications, and processes required to support various functional teams in TBSM TD Bank Business Systems Analysis covers a mandate that includes (but isn\xe2\x80\x99t limited to) proposing technical systems to accomplish business requirements enterprise-wide. These experts build relationships with business partners and other groups of diverse subject matter experts and stakeholders (both internal and external) to:

• Plan + Elicit + Analyze + Document + Communicate +Manage system requirements;
• Assess client needs and recommend the right technology; and
• Offer operational and process-related analysis and support.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s some of what you may be asked to perform:

• Provide project support for initiatives revolving around LIBOR cessation, Data Strategy and key strategic projects by working effectively with stakeholders like Market Risk Management and Analytics, FTP, Modelling, CMRM, ALM and Technology.
• Define & document requirements, perform data/system/impact analysis, develop test plans and execute and/or support UAT.
• Work with technology partners (e.g. Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.
• Keep management informed of projects progress and potential risks with clear and concise recommendation on risk mitigation.
• Spearhead process change efforts by working in collaboration with upstream and downstream stakeholders to detail current state and desired state end-to-end processes.
• Actively participate in quality management reviews, including designs, prototypes and other requirements work products.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis, data mapping, quality assurance, project delivery practices and standards across the project delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and pinpoint how to manage integration.
• Gain knowledge in own area, stay abreast of technology trends and developments, develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques, business domains and their products and services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and lead problem resolution. Identifies and leads problem resolution for complex issues at all levels
• Close collaboration with business and other members in TBSM Technology to ensure that the requirements are implemented according to Bank\xe2\x80\x99s SDLC development standard.

Requirements
What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

• 5-7 years of experience in related fields of finance, accounting, bank treasury, capital markets.
• Knowledge of principles of interest rate risk management, including asset and liability management, (e.g. duration, convexity, key rate immunization) as well as liquidity management.
• Knowledge of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) concepts and their application to personal and commercial mortgage, loan and deposit products.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to audiences with various backgrounds and seniority.
• Hands on SQL / advanced excel.
• SDLC / Agile methodology experience.
• Commitment to applying advanced to expert knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise, including design, development, testing and project management.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to foster a culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork and a high level of professionalism

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Business, Risk and/or Economics
• Valued designations: FRM, CFA, MBA
