We are proud to hire and retain aspirational leaders who are driven to achieve great things and are recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit.Job Summary:The Accounts Payable team is seeking a Senior Associate to oversee the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of all payable documents in line with company policies. In this role, you will play a key part in our transformation from a traditional brick-and-mortar retailer to an omni-channel leader and tech-driven fashion disruptor. Additionally, you will provide support to the Accounts Payable team as needed.Key responsibilities:

  • Enter invoices and process manual payments into the finance system;
  • Match invoices with purchase orders (3-way match);
  • Review account statements and follow up with suppliers and internal business partners;
Verify expense reports with receipts; * Allocate expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing and recording entries;
  • Assist in the accounts payable month-end close;
  • Collaborate with different teams at Head Office;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems and reports, procedures, and policies related to accounts payable.
Qualifications:
  • DEC in accounting, finance, or related field preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience in the retail industry is an asset;
  • Experience working in a multi-currency environment;
  • Knowledge of national sales tax regulations;
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential;
  • High aptitude with computer systems, MS Dynamics Great Plains finance system is an asset;
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, data analysis and multitasking;
  • Strong communication skills for communicating with suppliers as well as internal clients and management;
  • Bilingual French and English, spoken and written;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
