You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions for our organization. You will maintain financial records, verify invoices, and coordinate payments to vendors, suppliers, and other business partners in alignment with our corporate strategic imperatives.This is a hybrid opportunity working both remotely and on-site at our downtown location.Who you areYou have an accounting or finance education or background and want to join a growing organization.   • Process accounts payable transactions. You will review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization, match invoices with purchase orders, receiving reports and other supporting documentation. You will verify, code, and enter invoices into the database. You will prepare and process electronic payments, such as wires, ACH and EFT.
  • Communicate. You will contact vendors to resolve discrepancies, clarify billing issues, and ensure timely payment. You will collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement and finance, to resolve payment-related inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain records. You will reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation. You will assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts.
  • Support. You will assist the accounts payable team in other administrative tasks and special projects.
You have:
  • The experience. You have a finance or accounting background and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. You are highly organized, detail-oriented and meticulous, emphasizing data entry and documentation accuracy. You are comfortable using accounting software and MS Office. You may have experience with Dynamics 365.
  • The drive. You have a roll-up-your-sleeves approach and energetic get-it-done style. You thrive in a collaborative environment while working independently and taking ownership of your deliverables.
