Senior Analyst, Marketing Insights - Ford
VML is looking for a smart, curious, and business-savvy individual to join our Marketing Effectiveness and Innovation Group. As a core member of the Marketing Insights Team, the Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with internal teams and client counterparts to transform data into compelling, actionable insights. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing Insights, this role combines analytical rigor with creative storytelling to help drive strategic decisions and support business growth. They will also partner with Account, Strategy, and Media teams to help integrate analytics across the agency's work.

What you will do...
Support a variety of Marketing Effectiveness and Innovation initiatives, including (but not limited to) the following:
Collaborate with core analytics team members and others at VML to develop deep consumer insights
Mine and analyze large, complex data sets to extract key trends and performance drivers.
Craft compelling stories using information such as: source of sales, conquest/defection, customer demographics/psychographics, trend analysis, advertising spend, incentives, etc.
Deliver insights that inform marketing strategies and support high-priority business questions
Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System
Perform other duties and projects as needed
What it takes...
Deep curiosity and drive to understand "why."
Familiarity with multiple tools such as: mTAB, JD Power PIN+, S&P Catalyst, ZeroSum Inventory, Kantar and other industry tools a plus
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Creative thinking that can connect the dots to craft insightful narratives.
Ability to operate cross-functionally as a member of an integrated VML team while delivering on client needs
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
4+ year experience in analytics, strategic planning, or a related field
Automotive Marketing experience a plus
