As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be reporting to the FP&A Director and be responsible for providing financial insights to the FP&A Director and Operational product leaders, providing data visualization and analysis, financial reporting, operational expense reviews, and short/long-term planning support. This role is in office T,W,TH weekly in our Owings Mills MD or Toronto ON offices.
A Day in the Life
Responsible for key operational metrics including revenue, operating expense, and efficiency
Monthly forecast, budgeting, and analysis for senior level leaders in various Ops teams
Assist with development of the short/long-range financial modelling and growth planning
Generate actionable commentary for inclusion in the Executive Management Operating Review
Support the development of Power BI dashboards used by FP&A and Operations teams
Provide complex financial planning, analysis and reporting to management on an ongoing basis
Build confidence with Directors and VPs relating to financial results, forecasts, variances, etc.
Provide inputs and support to the Global Finance team on aspects related to Ops organization
Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance/Accounting
5 years financial experience
Expert user of MS Office (Excel, Power Query), experience with OneStream/Alteryx beneficial
Should have experience with SQL and building Power BI dashboards from ground up
Prior experience with SAP, OneStream, and/or Alteryx beneficial, but not required
Comfortable operating complex models and forecast scenarios within tight timelines
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior-level management, creating dynamic presentations, and ability to work cross-functionally
